Tailored Facilitation Design and Delivery

Craft impactful experiences that stick
Book a Call
  • Do you need a fresh pair of eyes to approach your senior leader retreat or all-staff get-together?
  • Are you a remote group or team that rarely comes together?
  • Do you get pulled too much into the event that you and your internal team don’t end up participating?

Empathic facilitation to support the difficult conversations that a fair transition calls for.

Designing tailored sessions (online, hybrid and face to face) to meet a group or event’s needs. From an hour long session to a multi-day retreat, from senior leaders to public engagement. We have supported design and delivery of a range of events and spaces.

Our Approach

Start with story

We always begin a brief with understanding what is the story arc of the event. What’s the peak moment? How do we want people leaving at the end?

Participant lens

We will always hold the view of the participant in mind while working together. When there’s key objectives to meet, it’s often a case of getting the puzzle pieces to fit.

Pairing is caring

You know your world better than we do. So often it makes sense to pair up in places. You hold the content, we hold the form.

Outsider perspective

Our perspective means we can ask the foolish question, challenge siloed thinking and bring in our cross-sector experience

Meetings matter. How we gather matters. Too often good opportunities for connection and conversation are missed. Outsider support on key workshops, events and retreats can make all the difference. We lead with a care-filled approach to our design.

Who we’ve worked with

What they had to say

Sophia designed two very successful workshops for Climate Outreach. She is a delight to work with – competent, visionary, brave and inspiring. She brings clarity of thought and diligence to her work, coupled with emotional intelligence.

Climate Outreach
I would work with Sophia and With Many Roots again in a heartbeat. It gave me and the other participants new skills and practices to hold both fear and hope. Perhaps most importantly, it gave us permission and space to feel the feelings and talk to each other, as friends, colleagues and as fellow activists, about the emotional impact of our work.
Naomi Tilley

I was profoundly struck by your extraordinary ability to … bring your true self and authenticity to the facilitation of the… retreat in March in a way that I think few would be confident to do so.
